This is the first draft of my film magazine, I decided to make my film magazine a limited edition cover, where one features a female and the other a male. I have seen numerous film magazines do this, for example the star trek cover. This is to make more money, as fans of the film will want to own both covers instead of just one.

The idea of having two different covers is to target the different articles at a different spectrum of target audience. The target audience of this magazine cover is aimed at mainly females, where the other version would be targeted at mainly males.

  1. Thomas, I love this. There's a few things that I thing could be improve to boost your grade but overall as a first draft this is fantastic. Well done.

  2. I've been having a bit more look at this tonight and wondering if it might be worth making more of a play on the Femme Fatale edition somehow...perhaps through the other sell lines/features maybe?
I also wonder if the bubble RE: the two covers could be more easily readable if it were on a magazine shelf? I like the use of this device, definitely, just wonder if perhaps the text might be better standing out further on this bit?
I do love this cover though :D Fantastic work.

  3. Yeah I'll have a play around with the femme fatale edition thing, and I was going to make the bubble clearer, but couldn't find a good enough image so I plan to take a better one.

    and thank you :))
